ERGODANI presents a new trigger for MIG/MAG torches compatible with all Tesla torches, both gas-cooled and liquid-cooled.
Generally, MIG/MAG torches, 
also named “wire torches” or “semiautomatic torches”, have a button with the shape of a gun trigger, which is the element responsible for transforming the finger pressure into the welding signal to the welding machine. Some welding applications are very demanding with classic mechanical buttons, which we can normally find inside a MIG/MAG torch, even with those with nickel-plated or silver-plated contacts.
Heavy-duty welding workshops where welders are opening and closing these triggers rapidly, for example, due to spot-welding large parts, can generate an early wear on the electric contacts inside a trigger. This wear firstly shows up with unwanted welding signal interruptions, or directly with the total failure of the trigger and then with the inability to use the torch.
The microswitch is a type of switch often used in the industry, which is featured by having an excellent behaviour under heavy use and a guaranteed life of millions of cycles. This feature makes it a perfect solution for critical circuits. Then, the ERGODANI team has integrated a microswitch inside the Tesla handle and it is now an available option for new welding torches.
